Finding Inspiration on Days you Feel like Quitting
So you have started your weight loss journey? You have made some positive changes to your diet. You have had to say no a lot and I mean a lot. You are now having to put more effort in to what you are eating. No more take out for lunch at work everyday. No more ducking through the drive through on your way home from work. I get it, it is difficult to keep putting in the effort; especially when you are tired from a massive day at the office. Or may be you have been going through some real challenges in your personal life. These are the challenges you face when you are trying to implement change. So how do we find inspiration on the days we feel like quitting?
Here are my top tips,
1. Focus on your why.
Try to remember the reasons you are on this journey to better health? Maybe it was the feelings that arose when you would look at yourself in the mirror? Or maybe it was the way you felt when you would go to the beach? It could of been how tired you always felt due to your diet? It could of been the change that you were so eagerly desiring. You need to regain the focus you had at the beginning and nurture it. If you have had some lapses in your diet, that is ok. It happens to everyone, but you need to forgive yourself and get back on the wagon. You can do this!!!
